This Edwardian-era cotton petticoat is a timeless piece of history, perfect for collectors and vintage fashion lovers alike. Made from soft, breathable white cotton, it has a lovely Broderick cut out work embellishments and a lace hem, adding a touch of romantic charm.

Despite its age, this petticoat is in great wearable condition and can easily be styled as a lightweight summer skirt or a strapless dress thanks to the elastic waist for a dreamy, historical-inspired look. A versatile and elegant addition to any vintage wardrobe!

Condition: Excellent for its age, with minor signs of wear typical of antique garments.

Measurements:
All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat (in inches). (1 inch = 2.54 cm)
• Waist: Stretches from 10” to 20”
• Hips: 30”
• Total Length: 36”

For reference, as you can see in the pics it was a bit small for the the mannequin is a women’s size Large with the following measurements:
• Bust: 38.18” (97 cm)
• Waist: 31.10” (79 cm)
• Hips: 40.94” (104 cm)

• Hand-dyed pieces: Due to the nature of hand-dyeing, colors may not be perfectly even. Please wash these items delicately, preferably alone or with similar colors.
• Antique fabrics (pre-1930s): Delicate materials such as 1920s silk or Edwardian muslin require extra care. These fabrics can be fragile and should be worn loosely to prevent stress or tearing.

Things to Consider for Edwardian & Victorian Clothing:
• A marked XS piece may have medium-sized shoulders and hips but a tiny waist (corset-era sizing).
• Sleeves are often ¾ length, not full-length.
• Buttons may be mismatched due to age and previous repairs.
