This handmade necklace features a quartz crystal point, a crystal flower terrarium, and a faceted pyrite set in 14K gold-fill. They hang from a tiny bail on a 20" gold-filled chain. The cascading pendant is 2" long. Gold-fill provides a much thicker layer of gold than gold-plated and should not wear off with proper care.
The terrarium features a color-changing flower handpicked from a medicinal tree that grows in the Baja desert. I was particularly drawn to this flower when I discovered that it undergoes a stunning transformation throughout the preservation process. From the moment it's delicately plucked, to when it's carefully dried, and finally set within a quartz crystal terrarium, its colors evolve, revealing some breathtaking hues that left me in pure awe. This unique flower also possesses a subtle iridescence that adds an ethereal glow to the piece.

As with all handmade jewelry, this piece is delicate and should not be worn during strenuous activity or in water. Please take care to remove it while swimming, bathing, washing hands, playing sports, etc. and avoid applying oils and lotions while wearing it.
