Ornate "spes unica" (Ave crux, spes unica, Latin for "Hail to the Cross, our only hope") ring. The 18k gold setting is highly detailed, with a warm patina. The ring is in overall very good antique condition. A name inside the ring appears to have been crossed out, perhaps the former owner's . . . .
