These handmade, one-of-a-kind hair forks feature high-grade gemstones set in sterling and fine silver and are the perfect hair accessory. They not only keep hair out of your face, they have the added benefit of creating volume after just a few minutes of having your hair up! When you feel like you could use a little boost, simply secure your hair into a high bun with the hair fork, wait 10-30 minutes, and voila! Once you remove the hair fork, you'll notice more volume and perhaps a little curl too. It’s the equivalent of fluffing a pillow, for hair!
The forks measure 4 1/4" to 5" in length and each has a unique stamped pattern along the sides. The ends of the fork bow out in order to keep your hair in place, but straight along the middle for ease of entry into your hair. The fork itself is flexible so that you can shape it to the width you prefer. Please take care when adjusting the hair fork, as too much tension may cause the metal to crack.
To use, simply coil your hair into a bun, insert the hairfork from the bottom up, loop at the top, and weave it back down through the bun. Click for a video tutorial.

As with all handmade jewelry, this piece is delicate and should not be worn during strenuous activity or in water. Please take care to remove it while swimming, bathing, washing hands, playing sports, etc. and avoid applying oils and lotions while wearing it.

As with all La Femme Boheme pieces, this item will come gift-wrapped in packaging made from 100% recycled, reused, or biodegradable components. Please reuse or recycle the packaging to the extent possible.
